ROHLOFF J (ENGL)

Dr. Rohloff was a really good teacher and a really nice/cool person, however, she grades extremely hard. Unless you are a pretty strong writer, I would not take her. I also do not recommend the music theme, unless you are really interested in it. No matter how hard I tired I could not get above a C on anything. I really think I would have gotten an A in 2000 had I taken another teacher in a more generic section. PS: Attendance in this class is an absolute MUST.

LOVE HER!! She keeps class exciting and the tests are open notes and book!!!!! take her. she is such a good teacher

Dr. Rohloff if hilarious! She is a really good teacher, although she does grade really hard. My best subject is english, and I made a B. You have to EARN your grade. She is tough, but she teaches well and she's fun!

Horrible class! Reading quiz every day. 4 papers, midterm/final must write on three 4 paragraph essays in an hr and 1/2. Have to be prepared to read at least 75pgs before each class. Class was not what I thought it would be.

You have to take this class no matter what major you have and she is the best teacher ever!!! She makes the class so much fun and tells little stories all the time. Very friendly atmosphere, I miss that class!

Dr. Rohloff is soo cooky. Her class is boring and she grades extremely hard. She doesn't like you go miss class! Get ready to work work work outside of class. Service Learning wasn't bad though.

Dr. Rohloff gives several little assignments that help your grade and she makes it so you have to work on your papers before the night they are due.

Dr. Rohloff is so off the wall, she has the best personality, but none of this makes up for her grading and hard topics to write about. There are better teachers out there.

She was alot of fun, I actually almost enjoyed this class, lots of group work, and little projects. Grades alittle hard, but she will make you a better writer.

Rohloff is one of those people who thinks she is funny and is not! I did not enjoy her class at all and found her very annoying. The service Learning was great, but that had nothing to do with her teaching. Alot of busy work

Rohloff is the best teacher at LSU. She is pretty thorough, but well worth it! Excellent teacher.

Be prepared to WORK!!!!! She gives you alot of "little things" that add up. I have never done so much work in a class. Her grading is pretty fair. If you have alot of time, I recommend her. CAN'T MISS CLASS EVER!!! Lots of busy work.

This class is very time consuming. Her topics are very difficult and the grading is hard. She was very outgoing, but her personality didn't make up for her tough grading!

She is a great teacher. I learned a great deal in her class. On occasion the topics were a little hard to write about. I Would recomend this teacher to anyone. She grades very fair.

She is a great english teacher! This course was much better than any other english courses I've taken. There isn't as much outside of class work as there are in some, but it is a lit class. The books aren't that long though and there's only 5.

I had her for a 7:30 class but she made class interesting and kept everyone awake. She's a pretty easy grader too.
