Dont take Lisa! She doesnt know what she's doing. Her communication skills are garbage, so you will have no idea what will be on the tests. She gives horrible lectures that do not have anything to do with the book. I doubt that she understands any of the principles that the book covers. Looks like an easy class but it is possible that you could get a c or even a d. Look elsewhere!

Nice lady and can be really understanding, but she is a HORRIBLE communicator... you'd think a communications teacher would be awesome at lecturing-- but NO, she was so hard to follow and would randomly giggle to herself and start talking to the TA!

she wasn't horrible but she was confusing, talked fast, rambled about strange things... she pretty much sucked .... her T.A. was better... and nicer.

Lisa is a sweet lady who presents the material in a very straight forward manner. Although hard to follow at times, the tests are quite easy. Presentations suck though!

For a communications teacher, she doen't speak very well. Exams are tough but somehow everyone in my class managed to get EXACTLY the grade they needed on the final.

Overall nice teacher, laid back class, but you do have to study and watch out for the 8 point grading scale

My first teach had west nile so i got stuck with Lisa. She was cool, but deffinately picks favorites based on their ability to speak well even though the class is about developing public speaking skills. If you suck your going to get a B so go get um

This is actually a very helpful class, it helped a lot, Lisa is a little hard to follow, she doesnt really teach and its almost impossible to get an A, she grades speeches very tough!

Go to class, even though it's boring bc attendance counts. Lisa is crazy and doesn't really know how to communicate properly herself...easy course, but I would try to get a different teacher. Cufusing on where she gets some of our grades for speeches

Hebert only lectures, you get a TA for all other days. Easy and fun.

Easy class, a TA teaches most of it, Herbert just lectures once a week, and the TA's are cool, if he is still there get ROGER for you TA, cool as shit and funny as hell!

Fun class. Don't do much. But make sure you actually study for the 2 exams! They're not as obvious as one would think. Mrs. Lisa is a very nice lady, but the TA does the majority of the work.
