HORRIBLE!!!!! Worst teacher I have ever had at Lsu. Whatever you do, do not take her. She is completely terrible at grading, every class is drawn out,and you learn nothing. She has an attitude that is unprofessional and if you do not write according to her opinion, she will give you an F. Worst teacher I've literally ever been around.

Easiest English class at LSU. Poetry I thought would be the most tolerable form of literature and I was right. Sharon is a really good teacher. You have a midterm (easy) and a final, two group projects (pretty easy), and 15 hours of community service at some thrift store on highland. You don't have any papers to write. I know that community service hours sounds lame but I rather to volunteer work than write a paper. The class is easy, I have an 87% and I'm ranked 24 out of 26 students. Pretty sure this should be a sign to take this teacher.

Had 0 tests, 0 quizzes. Service learning is the way to go, especially with Sharon Andrews. Her personality got dull, but she is really cool when you talk about something she is interested in. Class is incredibly laid-back and service component is fast and easy. Great class, great teacher. Little to no work. Attendance counts, but it is a fun class. I ment 3 of my best friends in that class last semester.

Complete bitch. Acts like she's your friend the whole semester. Then at the end, grades unbelievably hard on your final paper. I made a perfect score in english on the ACT and have never gotten anything but an A in any English class until her.

Make sure to take this service learning class. In high school I was a C english student and I passed this class with an A, even though I turned in my portfolio late

one easy test and an outside class final. im not into poetry, but class was very easy. service learning is cool, doesnt keep you entire class period, easy A in my book. if you do your work you get an A

Mrs. Andrews is a very nice lady. She is fair and actually cares about her students, but watch out for the end of the year group project and portfolio.

i really liked the class and Mrs. Andrews - she made it fun and interesting and gave you credit for making a valiant effort.

2 words: service learning...but it wasnt a bad class except its writing so the grading is objective

pretty easy class, Rash is a little crazy, but content is a lot more interesting than you'd expect

This is the worst teacher I have had at LSU, she is completely unorganized and she gives no clear indication of what your grade will be in the class, she also grades journals and papers on the emotional content not on if the paper has valid points

MRS. ANDREWS IS GREAT! SHE'S REALLY LAID BACK AND UNDERSTANDING.....SHE IS ONE OF THE FEW TEACHERS WHO YOU CAN TELL REALLY LOVES WHAT SHE DOES...........IT WAS A PLEASURE TAKING THIS CLASS. I LOVED HER SO MUCH I TOOK HER POETRY 2027 COURSE.

This woman is great. One of the best (and easiest) English teachers I've had. Cares about you and your success. Makes boring material able to be tolerated.

Go to class...get your hours in..do the projects, get an A. she grades easy, and she's really nice.. if you have time for service learning, take her

If you like helping ex-cons and drug addicts fold clothes, then this class is for you! But seriously, great teacher! she should be teaching non-service learning classes though

Mrs. Andrews is very sweet. Service Learning is the best engl. you can take.15 service hours, 2 papers and a portfolio. lots of class interaction.
