Professor Brown is so boring. Her note-slides come exactly from the book. The only way you'll pass is to read the book. Her exams are very, very detailed. You have to know the littlest things. This class is so time consuming. I do recommend this class for biology majors, because some of the material is covered in BIOL 1201. If you don't have to take, don't! Well, at least don't take this professor. I made sure I knew everything, and that's how I made an A.

I don't know what it was about Knapp's class but I could only get B's on the tests. I've had other psyc classes that I've done fine in but hers was probably my least favorite. It wasn't bad, it was just OK. She does ask some random stats on her tests though so make sure to look at those while you are studying. I didn't like having to go for 3 hours on Wednesday nights (we were never there for the fully 3 hours though, we usually were let out between 8:15-8:30). She was not bad but there are better psyc teachers to pick for this class. (btw she switches between wearing the same 3 outfits during class which was a little weird. my friends and i made a game of trying to guess what she would wear that night haha)

This class was actually pretty interesting, but she seemed sort of intimidated of the class. She made it pretty boring except for the demonstrations. I could barely pay attention. The tests never seemed hard, but I never did as good as I thought I would. Study and you should do fine. It is a lot of terms and distinguishing the difference between things. She drops two of the lowest participation points and two of the lowest RLR in class quizzes but they are barely worth anything and i had 100 in both already. She does give bonus worth up to 5% points of your overall grade which helped me get a B in the class

Briganti was horrible. She did what needed to be done and moved on. Her voice is even aggravating!! and i LOVED psychology before I came into this class. You have to teach yourself everything because it's almost impossible to pay attention. She doesn't grab the attention of the class, and the only reason anyone comes is because there's clicker points. If you have to take this class as an elective or because psych is your major, pick a different teacher or go in as a group so you can take turns clicking. The first test is impossible because she doesn't teach you the material, but once you learn how to teach yourself it gets better. I just felt like it could have been one of my favorite classes if I had a better teacher.

PSYC 2000 is an interesting class. I took two psychology classes in high school and I was considering either changing my major to Psychology or minoring in it before this woman completely turned me off of that idea. Which is weird, because she's a very physically attractive woman, but she has SUCH a lack of a personality that this is the first class I've ever fallen asleep in through my entire LIFE. no lie folks. She will put you to sleep while she reads off the slides in a monotone voice. Our nickname for her was "Boring Brown". Not creative, I know, which fits all the more. Also, she gives far too much material for an INTRO class. We had a 1200 page book and we went through the whole thing by the end of the semester, and you're tested on all it. I love psychology, but being drowned in it by the world's most boring woman is not my idea of fun. Got a 91 in the class and I was in the top 2 or 3%. If you do take her, just get the notes off noteswap or something...the class participation points are SO not worth it.

Munson's lectures were a little bit boring so it was hard to pay attention in class; Some of the material was pretty interesting though. As long as you're there for the inclass participation assignments and quizzes and do your homework, it isn't hard to make an A

Toussaint is amazing! She gives you most of the material in her slides all you have to do is show up for class and get some of the stuff she leaves out. The class has a lot of material but she tells you majority what will be on the test. She is extremely nice and works overboard to help you get the grade you would like. She knows pretty much everybody's name in the class and she is always willing to help you out if you need it. Major recommed!

Karen is SO sweet. She seems ten times better than all the other psych teachers that my friends had. If you go to class, you get extra credit, and she gives alot of it. Notes are easy to understand, Tests come STRAIGHT from the notes, and she gives a study guide. Study the study guide and you will do great. I made an A. Take her!

I'll start off by saying she's pretty attractive so if you want some eye candy, take this course. As for the course, PSYC 2000 can be a bit nitpicky when it comes to exams because things are pretty specific but most of the stuff is from the slides. The course is pretty interesting and Ms Vigna is an enthusiastic teacher. If you need help, she will be more than happy to talk to you after class or during office hours. If you're good at memorizing stuff, you should be able to swing an A.

This class was SO hard. The fact that it was 3 hours and a night course was not bad. Knapp is such a good teacher and you learn A LOT and she keeps it as interesting as possible, but grading? hell no. She was terribly unhelpful & her tests were like 60-100 definitions with essays. There are only 4 exams and a few quizzes. I had to drop the class after getting a 30 on the first test. Very informative teacher, but she should not be teaching such a low-level class.

Easy! I almost never read the book and always made an A on the test. A few questions (~3) come from the book, but you can still make an A if you miss em. Most questions come from the notes. I made As on all the tests, and I never read the book. The material is interesting (some is common sense), and you can apply what you learn. Knapp gives note outlines on Moodle. She's a great lecturer and you can apply what you learn out of class. She is kinda scary the first day, but she's a great lecturer, and you'll learn a lot!

This professor was the worst I have ever dealt with. I ended up dropping her class and taking my only W so far because she was too incompetent to even inform me if she would have a grading curve or why some exam questions had 2 right answers but only one was acceptable. If you take her class be prepared to make a B in it max.

VERY EASY! However, it does take a bit of studying a couple days before. Just know study guide and powerpoints, do all the work and you'll get an A. probably the dumbest teacher I've ever had though. class isn't necessary

I highly, highly recommend this class, with this professor, to students interested or even remotely interested in psychology. This class was a breeze, and the tests are nothing more than vocabulary exams. Even so, you learn a lot of wholesome things.

The material from the class was really interesting! But Mr. Domangue's exams were unnecessarily hard for an intro class. I studied hard for his tests and could not pull of an A on any of them. He drops one test so the final can be optional.

I like psychology, but Frey is SO BORING. I couldn't stay settled in class for just an hour, and it's a waste of time. His notes SUCK. Read the book, but the tests are still so hard.

Go to class to take notes. Read the text. You get to drop the lowest grade which means you dont have to take the final if you are satisfied with your grade. Only keeps you about an hour. Hes witty and funny.

Tests were pretty tough, I never studied enough for them. He is very interesting but make sure you study the book, no point in going to lectures, he just says what the book says (word for word sometimes)

I had Frey once a week. We usually stayed hour n half for a three hour course. However, you still have to know the material he doesn't cover in the class. You HAVE to READ the book if you want to make an A. Drops one test, including final.

We had class a total of about 7 or 8 hours for the entire year in his night class. I never got the book and made an A (I dont reccomend it though). You won't learn too much though. I don't reccomend for psyc majors.

The class is REALLY interesting. If you want an easy A take Rizzuto, but if you want a teacher that makes it fun, don't take her. All she did was put everything from the book in ppt and practically read all of the concepts during the lecture.

The test are kinda hard because a lot of questions are from his life examples. You must go to class and take notes. He does a bell curve which helps out and extra credit is given and you can get up to 10 points added to your FINAL grade.

He was always very prepared and gives you plenty of material. I didn't even use the book at all; just his notes. He does give many notes so be ready to write. I found his lectures interesting and he is very compassionate towards his students.
