Dr. Peckham is a truly great person. This was my favorite class of the semester. After some rough times at LSU in the past, it was so refreshing to have a professor that really believed in my potential. He arranged the desks in a circle every day and our time was centered largely around group discussions. He always wanted to get everybody talking about something interesting to them. At the end of the semester he wrote us all a letter telling us how much of an honor it was to have taught us. If you have a chance to take Peckham, do it!!

Dr. Irvin's Engl 2000 class focused mainly on social-class and education. It was interesting, but the subject gets old. Yor writing skills will improve. He doesnt give letter grades.
