McCaughey was nuts, and I mean it. Craziest teacher I've ever had at LSU. Her grading is confusing, but she makes up for it with a rediculous amount of bonus. Taking her is a toss up; either you'll love her or you'll hate her. It's up to you.

Mrs. McCaughey comes across as sweet, but I found her to be very rude and dismissive towards her students. She didn't grade papers consistently, so I never knew what she wanted. She isn't the worst ENGL 1001, but she defintely isn't the best.

Take this course, but not with this teacher. Her expectations are very unclear. It's like she has in her mind how she wants you to answer a question on a test, but she doesn't put clear questions on the test. It's very frustrating.
