witherow is nice, wants you to do well. 2 essays, 2 exams. exams are very easy, memorization. most classes will start with writing journals then discussion and sometimes you get out early. you'll need to go to most classes. we read two novels and there's a book of short stories we read. i managed to go without the book by reading the short stories on the internet.

Not bad, she's nice, but make sure you talk in her class (hard for me esp w/ people that talked the entire time), kinda subjective on grading, but other than that not a bad class at all. readings weren't too bad either.

Witherow is a very sweet lady, and truly cares about her students. However, she is a difficult grader, if your not good at writing essays forget getting an A

Witherow was very sweet and understanding. Read a few interesting novels and write two easy essays. Go to class for daily group discussions.

Dr. Witherow was an excellent teacher. She was very caring and straightforward, and she provided a course packlet. The selection of Louisiana novels was a bit weak, but exams and papers were very simple.

WITHEROW is 'DA BEST!! She reminds you of your Grandma, being stuck in the boring past, But her class is SO EASY, it's crazy! Her Midterm/Final was for BABIES! Only 2 EASY Essays! The reading not even that Bad really! Class is basically DISCUSSIONS!!

Dr. Witherow was one of the most organized profs I've ever had at LSU- she took the time to prepare a course packet and came prepared everyday. The writings were a pain, but otherwise, great teacher!

Witherow is almost TOO caring...she will extend deadlines forever if no one is ready. I learned alot about writing arguments. Only 3 papers plus 1 final paper. 1 group project (easy-play trash can basketball). MUST GO TO CLASS. She will fail you!

The teacher is great, she cares about the well-being of her students, but the project of SVL was pretty intense, but it made the class that much better.
