This was the most rewarding class I have taken at LSU. It requires a lot of work(!) but the benefit at the end totally outweighs it. As for Dr. Achberger, best professor at LSU in my opinion. He has a great personality and really wants to see his students succeed. And as long as you show up, participate, and complete all the assignments you pass!

Notes are all hand written. Tests are very difficult. Must know every detail of the lecture. Dr. Achberger is a great teacher though. He is willing to to help and even provides a make up test if you want to pick up your average.

Achberger is a great teacher. He's laid back, explains everything well, and knows his stuff. Spend time on the lab reports and go to the labs and you will have everything you need to do well on the exams.

Achberger is great. His exams are challenging, but they shouldn't surprise you if you look at his old tests, which he provides.

I had fun in this lab class, he is very laid back and lets you go as soon as you get done doing your experiment. He lectures and explained things clearly. You do have to study for the quizzes though, they arent easy.

Dr. Achberger was a great teacher, his lectures were interesting and i think i learned more in this lab than the lecture (1011) He is a really nice guy and is very flexible with everyone. If you can...take him! He is worth taking the late class!
