BLAW 3201: Business Law

Duplechain is a good teach and he makes the class pretty entertaining. The material is pretty easy and you can learn it all from the book. However, not only must you go to class, but you have to participate - i.e. ask questions and answer the questions he poses to the class. Attendance does not count for this. I went to every class and got A's on the tests and HW, but still got a B because I did not "participate." Participation is 10% of your grade.

Fargason is a funny guy so the class is interesting. From what I hear about other BLAW professors, this is the least time consuming professor. 3 tests, final is cumulative, he goes over all the information 3 or 4 times before each test, and there's only 5 quizzes.

Mrs. Danos is simply a fantastic teacher. Don't let her intimidate you at first. Stick with it because it is well worth it. The class was enjoyable and I keep finding applications in daily life. She likes to have class discussions which really helps to keep things interesting. Gives two multiple choice tests. I studied by reading and outlining the chapters and studying hard a few days before and did well on both. Also assigns case briefs which are kind of a pain. Her TA grades them and sometimes the grading seemed arbitrary but other than that they weren't bad. She is very knowledgeable and very willing to help. Enjoyed this class very much.

Go to class. Work the studyguide and the problems out of the book and you'll do fine on the tests. Alot of them are the same questions. Fargason is a great teacher and i learned alot

Funny teacher. Very thorough. Easy to follow. Not necessarily an easy class but he makes it at least possible to make a good grade. I made a solid B and didn't have to study constantly.
