Dr. Allen's lectures were unnecessary. The only reason to go to class was in case there was one of three pop quizzes. He gave a study guide for the midterm & final, so that was good, but sitting through his class was terrible.

Sullivan was awesome, the class was mostly discussion, had to write a weekly one to two page paper but thats about it, no midterm, the final was a paper, watched movies. Makes you stay whole 3 hrs, but he is awesome! I actually liked going to class

All of Dr. Sullivan's classes are great! he's kinda new to LSU so he's not well known yet but his classes are easy and very rewarding! weekly reading & class participation (most fun you will ever have in a class!)

Review #4 / Course: AAAS 2000 / Instructor: DURANT JR T
The class was very interesting, however none of what he ever covered in class was on the exams. He was also hard to follow at times and often jumped from topic to topic.

Review #5 / Course: AAAS 2000 / Instructor: BIRTHWRIGHT E
The material in the class was good however it isn't what you would typically expect from an African-American studies class. It lacked alot of class involvement because he claimed it wasn't "testimony" which I think really took away from the class
