This course requires LARGE amounts of reading. If you are taking other courses that demand your time, I don't recommend this one as well. When I tried really hard on a reading response paper (which you have once a week), I got an 8/10. When I didn't try at all, I still got an 8/10. I feel like she's the type to never give anyone a perfect writing score. Also, she assigns work every weekend and holiday. We had to do research in the Hill Library during Spring Break which means if you're from out of state, you have to come home during your holiday to do research! I think she has the potential to be a great teacher. She is very intelligent, but sometimes I felt overworked and didn't have time for other classes.

Williams is great. She is understanding and helpful. Her tests are a little bit hard (all essay and matching) but she is a fairly easy grader on most things.

He's a GREAT teacher. You can tell he really knows his stuff. His tests are kind of tricky, but he is great.

Reading is stiff and boring but Costello makes it fun. Keep up with the reading.
