Review #1 / Course: HNRS 1003 / Instructor: STONER J
This class wasn't solely taught by Prof. Stoner as this would make it seem. It was taught on a rotating basis by Prof. Stoner (Political Science), Prof. Ross (History), and Prof. Zerba (English). Each teacher was able to bring their specialty to the subject matter of Ancient Greek literature, history, philosophy, and politics. Ross was very dry, sometimes dull lectures. Really knows his stuff though. His material appeared least on the tests. Stoner was a goofy guy, easily distracted/went off tangents. Hard to follow but hilarious if you can make out his little jokes. Zerba was probably the best, lots of the literature on the tests.

This class (linked with HNRS 1001) requires lots of reading time! Three/four different teachers lecture on different days so it can be difficult to follow the material. Two exams with IDs, short answers, and essays.

Review #3 / Course: HNRS 1003 / Instructor: LAMONICA D
you'll learn amazing stuff in this class. Most enlightening class you'll take freshman year. But you have to pick the right professors to teach your lectures. I took and loved: s stem., henderson, lamonica, and holmes. I won't mention the other two.

Review #4 / Course: HNRS 1003 / Instructor: HERNDON J
lots of work, but you have to expect it in an honors lecture/seminar; Herndon is great, he wants you to do well; he'll be missed

McMahon is extremely hard to follow and rarely sticks to his (long) outlines. I would reccommend someone else
