Review #1 / Course: PHYS 2002 / Instructor: CHASTAIN R
I think physics is interesting but I just had so much trouble understanding the concepts. This was the first semester they went to computer based exams and it was terrible! Chastain was a good teacher, tried his best to present the information in different ways and make sure we understood. He was very accessible and office hours were helpful. Take him if you can!

Review #2 / Course: PHYS 2002 / Instructor: YOUNG D
Dr. Young is an excellent teacher and is interested in making sure his students understand the material taught, which is a big plus for a course like physics! Homework twice a week is mandatory and a big pain/stress, but unlike physics 1, Young will eliminate one of the homeworks on test week. Exams this semester were in the computer lab, which was AWFUL, but department-wide so avoiding Young won't change that. If you are required to take this class, Young is a great bet.

Review #3 / Course: PHYS 2002 / Instructor: ZHANG J
The tests were exactly the homework problems, but each test only has 10 questions. You can't ever slack off!

Review #4 / Course: PHYS 2002 / Instructor: YOUNG D
Dr. Young may be a bit arrogant, but he is a great teacher and will help you get through this course (even if you aren't getting it) as long as you go see him. I wish I had visited his office hours earlier on in the semester!

Review #5 / Course: PHYS 2002 / Instructor: WILDE C
Wilde is a great teacher. Problem is tests are departmental now and if you do not have D.Young you are going to have a tough time on the tests. Would recommend Wilde if tests are not departmental but if they are then definitely try and get D.Young.
