The lectures were good, the content and tests just weren't. Much harder than necessary for a 2000-level course. Test material came from book, not from lectures.

If you have to take a Sociology class, skip the intro and take 2505 with Jeung. In my 3 years at LSU, I don't think I've met a better and cooler teacher than him. He's the most laid-back guy. His lectures can be long because the class was from 3 to 4:30, but we never went past 4 because he wanted to go home. He cancels class a lot too. You do have to go to his class, because he does quizzes every now and then that are worth 10% of your grade, but they're open notes, and they're announced. If you know the lecture, there's no way you can get less than a 90 on each exam (there’s only 2 of them), that's how easy they are. All throughout the semester, he varies class lectures with 20 minutes talks about anything but class, and documentaries.
