Title: Introductory Financial Accounting

Description: Prereq.: MATH 1021 or equivalent. An honors course, ACCT 2002, is also available. Credit will not be given for both this course and ACCT 2000 or ACCT 2002. Required of all students in the E. J. Ourso College of Business. Students in nonbusiness curricula are advised to enroll in ACCT 2000 if they are given the option of ACCT 2000 or ACCT 2001, unless they plan to pursue a business degree at a subsequent date. Financial accounting with emphasis on knowledge required for completion of the accounting cycle, including income measurement and financial statement preparation; accounting for current and plant assets, current and long-term liabilities, stockholders' equity, and cash flows.

Not the greatest teacher. Nice teacher though. Just goes over powerpoints and some examples. Clicker quizzes given every week and wiley plus hw. Self studying is required!!! Do examples and read the chapters, more of understanding and applying than memorizing. Basically go to class for quizzes, majority of the time you have to self teach. Hours of studying!!

NOTE this is for 2101. Killa Chris is a super cool dude, but the class blows. It's departmental so don't expect to know what's coming on tests and don't expect a curve either. He does his best to help you out with the clicker quizzes and homeworks so get those points and do ok on the tests and you will get a decent grade.

Do not take her. Save yourself from a semester of 50 minute periods of hell 3 times a week. Annoying voice and doesn't explain anything in class but just goes over powerpoints and random exercises without explanation. She also has random stupid ideas like writing on the whiteboard when there is over 200 people in the classroom. If I knew how bad she was, I would rather have scheduled to go to class at some insane time cos its stil better than taking her

Denstel was good teacher. The course was departmental so he didnt have control over the test and curvs. He did however, make the quizes and homworks really easy. A dumbass could have gotten every point on every assignment. The class can be tough but if you study wiley you can make an A.
