ART 1441: Historical Survey of the Arts

You don't have to go to class. Everything you need to know is in the notes he gives you and there was no clicker. The class is boring because it is just a slide show of paintings. You have to memorize artist, painting, style, and time frame for every painting/sculpture/architecture.

Darius was hilarious. He kind of rambles about the paintings but his voice is so cute, it doesn't even matter. He goes over a lot of stuff and tries to narrow it down for the test, but it is still ends up being a lot. If you are good at memorizing things, this class really shouldn't be that much of a problem for you.

definately take him. go to class and take the notes, he gives a lot of extra info so don't write that down. know artist, dates, style, just basics. keep the sylabus in class with you and follow it. no tricks and he'll tell you if there is one. 89.3 A

There is a lot of material for exams, but they weren't too bad. I LOVE Dr. Zucker... he's so funny and makes the class quite entertaining.

Very hard to understand. Class is quite boring, which will result in you not wanting to go to the class. Test are pretty hard. Only 2 test total up your final grade. Other than that, he has a pretty good personality.
