If you are going to take microbial physiology, do NOT take Battista. This class was far from being an introductory class. The exams were essay only, some of which were worth 30 points. STAY AWAY.

He is a pretty cool teacher. Tests were somewhat challenging because you have to really understand the materials and be put things together. Overall, it was a pretty interesting course.

You really have to know the notes he gives inside & out. But his notes suck cause it's just paragraphs of info, not very organized. He's kinda goofy but not a terribly hard class, pretty boringm, but tolerable

Do not take this class if you do not want to go into depression. imagine a teacher whose slides confuses him atimes. you have to wait till the next class before he answers your questions because he has to go look it up.
