If you're forced to take Econ 2000, take Weimer! Some of the material will bore you to tears, so only take this course if you absolutely have to. Dr. Weimer knows his stuff, is always willing to help, and wants you to do well! Although some of the material seems fairly easy, you NEED to make sure everything makes sense to you come test time. The cumulative final is difficult, so studying is a must.

The professor is extremely knowledgable and is understanding and compassionate. The testing is clearly defined and there is a great curve in the entire class, well worth it.

Economics is a really hard class, but if you have to take it get Weimer. He is the best teacher I have had since I have been at LSU. He is always willing to help and really wants his students to understand the material and do well.

D. Weimer was a fantastic and helpful teacher. Econ is boring and he did the best he could. I would recommend him any day and from what I heard he sounds like the best around. He's great to meet with out of class.

Professor Weimer is very nice and understanding, but his class is boring and it's hard to pay attention. The exams are difficult and require a lot of extra out of class studying.

Lots of powerpoint, he give you the notes on SB then reads them to you. Very boring class, but the test are hard! so Study, he shifts the grading scale to get a bell curve though.
