Blackmon's nice and he's easy to follow in class, but he's incredibly tough on the exams, which were much harder than they needed to be. The test problems were not similar to the homework, but were to ensure that you fully understand the concepts enough to apply it to any problem you came across. There were no curves either. I recommend taking at least Calc 2 before entering this class, which also requires some math from Calc 3.

Group testing makes this class awful. If Blackmon would have made up the tests, I would have been good to go. He's a great guy who's always willing to help. Like all physics classes, the WebAssigns suck so get the answer CD. Not fun but soso clas

Departmental exams suck. Webassign due every week and clicker quizzes. Blackmon was a great teacher. Quirky at times, but helps you to understand E&M, plus his curve was bigger.
