Calix was very very fair with grading. His main goal was ensure the class actually understood the logic behind the programming and coding, not necessarily whether we were 100% correct all the time. Don't be afraid to ask him for help. He's very nice. It's a lot of work but bearable. For assignments, group with some colleagues. That's how I learned best.
