Lane is a good teacher. He can seem intimidating, but I think he is just sort of socially awkward. He likes if you participate in class and/or ask questions about the material. He curves and basically does not fail people.

takes all the time in the world to return papers! not helpful at all! u basically teach yourself in this class! too much time required!

I learned so much in the class. It took till the end of the semester to really getting good at it, i wish there was a part 2 so I could refine it more

Lane is a good guy, a little rough around the edges at times, but I think that's all an act. If you do nothing in the class, you get a C (he doesn't fail people). If you put forth minimum effort, you get a B. It's a pretty easy 4000 level class.
