This course was SO interesting! The class discussions were great. But, don't be fooled Watanabe requires alot of work. There are lots of plays to read plus the portfolio requires outside reading! Take this class if you have the time to work hard.

The class is awesome, we got to read books from different culture's mythologies. Watanabe is quiet and insightful, and a nice guy, but he assigns a lot of reading and sometimes doesn't offer straightforward notes

Watanabe grades very easy. Don't give up in this class, because he grades the last paper really easy and the tests are easy. I would definately take this for an upper level Humanities elective.
