Vekhter speaks too fast. He's not good at explaining, and he doesn't like to explain either. In his office hours, he does his best to get out of explaining (sometimes I feel that he pretends you understand, so he doesn't have to explain). His favorite phase? "Oh, you know this." He is brilliant, but doesn't have a clue on how to encourage his students. He's the type who'd remind you that the test is "just like the homework" while he's explaining how to get the answers on a test that you more or less failed. He's also sarcastic and smiles all the time.

Horrible! The content is confusing enough already (all invisible stuff), and the teacher makes it even harder by speaking too fast. He rushes thru the material and pretends you understand it. No example problems in class. Take Gonzalez!

Vekhter is a good teacher, but 2102 just wasn't fun. The tests are multiple choice, with only 40% of the test having partial credit. There is a curve which bumped me from a C to an A. Vekhter does his best to make it interesting.
