I'm a nerd, already and like math. But he was the best teacher i've had at LSU in 5 years. I hardly needed the book, just went to lecture. Don't miss class, it will hurt you. Great Teacher !!!

He's like an older version of Napolean Dynamite. His quizzes/exam is hard, but not weighed as much compared to the lab reports are. Expect little sleep if you wait til the last minute to do things.

The labs are pretty easy. The TA's were pretty good too. Maverick's quizzes were not very easy, and his final exam was ridiculously hard. I don't think anyone had any idea how challenging it would be. Other than that, the class was pretty good and ea

Dr. Maverick is very clear, communicates via email often. His lectures give great examples of the material. He uses Webassign.net which is convienent aqnd inconvienent.

lab and reports are easy with TAs, but quizzes are sooo hard, questions apply what was learned from the labs to other scenarios
