Be prepared to read the book from beginning to end. He doesn't lecture about material, just the pictures in the book. His tests were so hard that he curved each tes 25-35 pts each time b/c noone could make above a 65 w/o it.

Dr. Laine truly seems like a very nice man, but he did not have to make his tests as difficult as they were. For so many nit-picky details in as many notes as he gave us, it was truly mind boggling. good luck if you take laine!

Laine says that he teaches this class like a med school biochem course (hell); 10 lbs & 6 inches of notes to learn for just the 2nd part of the course (i measured); exams harder than MCAT (really!); dont go to class; spend that time to teach yourself

He was never there! He constantly had substitutes teach for him and his online notes were excessive. Didnt even know what to study for tests.

He lectures from the internet, so it's real hard to follow and take notes, or even have the notes ahead of time.
