Dr. Lewis was interesting. She teaches well, but is not very passionate about anything but perfection in papers. The quizes were insane, but they mighbe for attendance. There was no final, but the journals in place it were 115 pages, taking 14 hours.

Dr. Lewis was a great teacher! She was very into the subject at hand and she made me realise a lot of different things. Although there was a lot of quizes and I never knew hardly any of my grades until the end, I LOVED HER and she was very intresting

She definitely has a different perspective. But it's a good one. She knows students don't want to go to class, so she gives us the assignment and the takes a few days off, then when she comes back from her vacation, she picks up our assignments.

Good class. African American Fiction is a great topic; it very interesting and Dr. Lewis helps you take new perspectives on topics you previously knew little about.
