Strohschein grades pretty hard on grammer, but does not give a referesher couse in grammer until half way through the semester. No tests or final, but graded work is various business correspondence. Not very intersting, but good skills to have.

She's nice, and her papers are pretty easy. Just be sure to read all the plays, and pay attention to every little detail in her lectures. The mid term was impossible

Professor Strohschein is an amazing English teacher. I learned a lot in her class and my writing skills have improved tremendously after taking her. One of the best English teacher that I've ever taken.

The class is easy if you put forth the effort. Midterm is fair but can be difficult is you don't study. She may offer take home final exam that you turn into her office. Overall, very good teacher and an easy A class if you put your mind to it.

Go to class and read the plays and you will be fine. The midterm was very hard.

This class was very boring and time consuming. The mid-term and final was very difficult so make sure you takes good notes because they counf for almost 50% of your grade. She grades pretty rough on the paper, but overall she was a great teacher.

A very good teacher, but also a very hard one too. You need to proof your paper carefully and spend a good bit amount of time on it if you want to do well in her class. She is very friendly and is alway willing to help you.

Professor Strohschein was one of the best English teacher I ever had. She explains everything thoroughly, tries her best to helps you inside and outside of class, and grades fair. I highly recommend her class.

She is the sweetest lady ever and she is very clear about what she grades on. It's def. not a blow-off class through, she takes attendance and no matter how hard I tried i couldn't make an A. I took english 1002 with brockmeir, and easliy got an A

She is a nice lady, but a rough teacher. She sets her expectations high, and she is anal about every little detail. Expect everyone you know and the writing center to revise your papers if you expect an A. Also, suck up and live in her office.

Went to public schools and never had a "real" English teacher. This teacher was a hard grader and now I have a lot more confidence writing papers because she was so challenging.

Strohschein is kind of boring, but she is nice. She is very nit-picky. She used to proofread for a living so she is very critical. You have to learn a lot of extra junk if you take her class though.
