SMITH J (ENGL)

I hate writing, but Professor Smith made this class a breeze! No tests and only 4 essays. 1 is optional. So technically only 3. This includes the final which all English 1001 students must take, and if you get a high enough score on it, you can test out of English 2000. The second paper is a group paper, so that makes it an easy paper. He is a funny professor, cancels class a lot, and lets you out early. The only thing he asks is that you attend class. If you don't, you will be on this hate list and he won't try to work with you.

AWESOME GUY. He may seem a little odd but hes funny at times. Only 4 papers the whole semester. make sure to go see him before each paper is due b/c it helps a WHOLElot. Really nice guy, even better teacher. TAKE HIM!

NE1 who doesn't like Dr. J. is f##ked in the head. He works to actually help students. Those who said neg. things are lazy narrowminded students who probably got Ds instead of Bs. Take him. He's a great guy who expects a lot.

Dr. Jeff is one cool teacher who wants students to do well. He makes good use of class time and uses some class time to meet individually with students and talk about their writing. Really helpful. Fair grader. If you fail, it's your fault.

Uses class time for one to one conferences which is grrrrrreat for students. Not an easy grader, but Dr. Smith tells you exactly what he wants. All you haters need to get a clue. His personal life isn't an issue. He's a GREAT teacher!

Great teacher! The person who made the negative comment about being a liberal is an a**hole. Dr. Smith is one of the best teachers at LSU and doesn't force his beliefs on ANYONE!

One of the best teachers at LSU! You hardly ever have class but you still learn a lot! Talk to him because he gives very good advice on papers. Easy A!

4 papers for the semester. he grades really hard. u can hardly get an A in ur papers. very strict abt grading.

Dr. Smith was a good professor. Graded essays fairly easy, and cancelled class a lot. Always in his office to meet with you.

He is a very nice guy, and tells you straight-up what he wants from you. Rarely had class & met w/ students outside of class for help with essays. I learned a lot about writing.

Dr. Jeff Smith is a good English teacher. We wrote 4 - 1200 word papers in one semester. He grades the papers very easily.

As long as you do not miss class, Mr. Smith is very caring, helpful and funny. But if you are not a usual class goer, then you will fail the class.
