CROUSILLAC S (BIOL)

Easy class but boring Professor, it's a typical freshmen class. I found Crousillac to be boring as he read straight from the powerpoints which he probably copied and pasted (and he posts them online so class attendance isn't always necessary). With that being said, he does care about his students and wants them to succeed as he holds out of class review sessions and has great office hours. The exams are very easy as long as you study the night before and he gives in class quizzes every once in awhile which do weigh on your grade. I probably went to class 40% of the semester and would have had a 94 although I missed a lot of the in class quizzes which unfortunately brought me down to a B!

Easiest biology class ever. I hate/suck at science and was thinking I was going to flunk this course. But for the first test I just looked over the powerpoints and made an A. All you have to do is memorize everything in the powerpoints and you will ace this class. Trust me, I have a 2.3 GPA overall in my years at LSU and surprisingly biology 1001 with Crouisillac was my first ever A in LSU and it was the subject I hated the most!!

He is a good teacher. His teaches straight from his powerpoints and his tests comes straight from them. It is a bio class so it can be boring but going to class can help your grade. Test were not hard, but you need to study. He understands we are not bio majors so he makes it easy on us.

Easy class as long as you study. He's willing to help you as long as he sees you trying. He understands biology is not a subject liked by many, so he gives you the basics you need to understand. He will go over it as many times as you need to understand. Easy A/B

Dr. Crousillac was easy to understand. He does a review session before every exam where he lets you ask any questions you want. It lasts a full class period or until no one has questions. He gave pop quizzes where we just got points for writing our names and the date, so basically we got 10 points for going to class. And on every exam, there was a bonus question that he gave us the answer to during the review session. Definitely do the Mastering Biology stuff online!!!!!! I got a B in the class, but I know I could have gotten an A if I did all of the online questions. So, and I cannot stress this enough, GO TO CLASS AND DO THE MASTERING BIOLOGY! And take Dr. Crousillac for bio 1001!

Crousillac is an AWESOME professor. He is very subtly funny, and he always made class enjoyable. You get your quiz/participation points through random "pop quizzes" which only require you to write your name on a notecard and turn it in to him when class ends. He gives funny, easy bonuses on the exams and always has a review day before the exams.

This is absolutely the easiest way to take Biology. If you do not need major Biology take this professor. Tests are STRAIGHT off the powerpoints, 5 quizzes that are strictly attendance. You have to study but its hard to not get an A. Ask him about the bonuses for every test.

This should be a very easy class - just very boring, like most sciences. Crousillac has high ratings, but to me personally we didn't 'click'. I could barely hear him saying anything sitting not too far behind in class (upper seats of middle section). Slides are on Moodle and tests cover mostly if not only the information from those - but they are not too organized; I had to read the book on the side to understand the whys and hows. One ridiculously easy bonus point each test, no cumulative final. MUST go to class because he gives random pop quizzes based on ATTENDANCE that day! Trying to have your friends do it for you will NOT work - he gets mad specifically with this. Tests sometimes have 1/5 of class in each grade A-F; not a given A you still need to put in your effort.

You will not find an easier and more laid back proffesor! He gave quizzes in class, but they were pretty much attendance checks. His exams were very straightforward and he tells you what will be on them. TAKE HIM!!!!

Dr. Crousillac was a pretty monotone professor, but he didn't teach anything that was not going to be on the exam. There's a review session the class before the exam where he will answer questions/tell you if something will be on the test. 5 quizzes throughout the semester help your grade.

Crousillac has a really monotonous voice, but he's a nice guy. Tests were straightforward.

Dr. Crousillac only teaches you what you need to know which is really useful for exams. He holds a review session before the exam where he will answer almost any questions you pose. He is even more helpful in office hours and will thoroughly answer your questions.

He is really nice and tries hard, but he is boring. If you dont bomb the first test, like me, you will be fine.

Dr. C does not rush through material. Exams are straight from the notes. You have to understand the notes well to get questions such as a,b,c,a&c,all of the above type questions correct.
