This class required way too much work. I'd say about half of your semester will go to this class and you won't have time to study for other things. A theatre class should not be this hard. Take regular theatre...trust me...its worth it

Easy class. Ms. Clemons is hilarious, a little crazy but very nice and the class is so easy. There are study sessions with the TA and she pretty much tells you what is on the test! Take this if you want an easy A~!

pleeeease understand what you're getting yourself into when you take this class!!! service learning consuuumes your life not to mention the thousands of journals that accompany it...not even close to a blowoff elective!!!

This class has a service learning project attached. It's fun and interesting, but if you want something with no work outside class, then take 1020, this isn't for you. It's very hands on and you get to act and prepare a couple of plays. I enjoyed it.

BORING class. You have to see at least 3-4 plays over the semester. Pretty easy class though. SHe gives tons of extra credit opportunities.

Be prepared to get aggrevated. She is REALLY moody and favors the athletes. She gives out tons of bonus, and take advantage of the review session (they are the only way i survived)

It was a great class, but an insane amount of out of class time is required. The service-learning project is so cool. We worked over 50 hours out of class on our project....it was kind of crazy that it only counted for 3 hours.

This semester Dr. Leigh's TA's sucked they were bitchy and it just brought the whole class down, They are very unorganized and can not handle having class in the COX building!

IF you are a student athlete then take this class, because Dr. Clemons will pay special attention to you and your buddies, if not, she will not notice you, I thought that was extremely unfair. Besides that it wasn't a bad class, just bias teacher!

This class was a blast, and Dr. Leigh is a trip. Even the required plays you have to attend aren't too bad. You go every day just to see what Dr. Leigh will do next.

dr. clemons is very funny, my only advice is go to the SI sessions given by rachel if all possible. sometimes its hard to understand when stuff is due and stuff but if you check the website you will be ok

Dr. CLemons is a trip with her jerseys and converse. Really good class even if you arent interested in theater. Hardest thing is the group projects. Plays that u must, see she makes sure are enjoyable.

Clemons is great! She dresses different, but that all. Her class is fun and there are powerpoints every class so its easy to take notes. The only bad thing is you have to see 3 plays. They arent to bad though. Lots of ops for ex. credit.

I took this class in the Cox building with 700 people. There were group assignments which were rough at first. We had to see 3 plays and write easy reviews. There were 2 tests that you'd fail unless you went to SI. One easy paper on a play.
