I had Denstel for this course (not chenier). He was a good teacher but the course was departmental. He makes the quizes and hw really easy to get full credit. The course itself is more conceptual than financial accounting. Big thing i didnt like was the fact the class had over 200 students in it. Dont expect curves on the tests and the final was difficult but manageable. (pun intended)

She was a good teacher, i just didnt study enough. She makes all the exams and she tells you exactly what you need to study.

very easy class! exams are straight forward. Chenier goes through practice problems in class, and if you can work those you can make 100% on her tests. make sure to read the material in the book that's not covered in class.

she's not very friendly or open to questions at any time. ALWAYS late for class. flies thru material and then gives you a team problem/quiz and you are kinda lost. NO BONUS, no homework. doesn't curve. material isn't bad but she doesn't help make it any easier.

Chenier tends to contradict herself. One minute she says she gives partial credit but then when she gives the tests back she gives you no credit if you get one part wrong. And if you ask her about it she gets offended and acts like she has explained it thoroughly. She is also always late and keeps you until the end of class if not after because she is late. The class itself is not too hard but her tests are so short that the questions are weighted heavy so you miss more than 2 questions and automatically get a B!

Not an easy class, but test are fair. Chenier is a great teacher.

Very unprofessional. Rude. Unclear about whether assignments are optional or required. Doesn't give enough time to complete in class assignments.

She tends to move quickly and won't repeat hersel at all, but is usually willing to help go over something if you didn't get it the first time.

This teacher is very unprofessional. she always came in complaining about someone and was very rude to us. she needs to either chill out or quit. 3, 80 pt. tests 5 team problems

This was not a hard class, but CHenier made it more difficult than it had to be. She was not very approachable. She has an accent, and sometimes she was just rude.

She was a great teacher, once you get past the accent. Really into the material and very willing to help her students out in any way that she can. Make sure to go to class and you won't have too much trouble with the quizzes or tests.

Ms. Chenier was really nice, the 1st exam wasn't that bad, the 2nd was okay, the final was brutal (studied 6.5 hours for it) but there was a 5 point curve so I ended up doing better on it than the 2nd exam. Don't take this class if you don't have to

Easy A if you can add and subtract. I'm not from Louisiana so her accent was hard to understand at times, her lecture notes are very concise and prepare you well for the test. Only downside is she always shows up late for class.

Great teacher, she uses good examples... If you do the problems and go to class, it should be an easy A. There are curves on almost all the tests and she posts all her notes online. Take her!

Chenier was great and she managed to make accounting interesting. The tests are difficult, but her notes are great.

Chenier was a great teacher and gave us copies of her notes. However, little can prepare you for the computer-based tests. Do your homework and study the concepts a lot!

Mrs. Chenier was a wonderful teacher, she really cares about her students and is willing to do whatever it takes to help them out. The class still sucks though...best advice is to go to class and keep up with the homeworks.

She made this boring stuff easy, I was 1 point away from an A and I'm really bad at math. She's really nice too!

I would not have taken this class if it wasn't mandatory, but if you have to ; Definitely Ms.Chenier. She has a great personality and keeps you awake through this boring material.

This class is awesome! I know it's accounting, but it actually made me want to learn! Chenier is great, I have never learned so much in one class!

She acts like she helps you out on exams and other classes but she really doesn't, others like watson help you out a bunch and give you review sheets with good examples like the tests, review problems are way too long and you don't need all of them!

Chenier puts notes on the internet for you so that was easy. Her examples are dumb. She seems like a high school teacher. Not bad but i bet there are better acct teachers out there.

Boring class but you have to take it she is a good teacher. the whole accouting department is just tough, dont even pray for a curve, the tests are always tough, quiz can help your grade alot if you keep up with them but they can hurt you to

She gives quizes that are even harder then the test. She teaches the class as if all students should be accounting majors. Some of us are not accounting majors though.

she really cares a/b her job and her students. She always prepared, maybe a little too prepared,,,aka Very Anal. It's a little annoying, but she just means to be a good teacher

Chenier was a nice person and likes teaching, but she is hard to understand. The homeworks and quizes can really hurt your grade if you let them slip.

some people didn't like her...some did...she didn't follow the notes real well...so you have to study the notes and study what she does in class...she doesn't do the problems the same way the book does, but i think the way she does it is easier
