KURTZ S (MATH)

I am a person that loves math and for me she killed it. She knows nothing about math and I mean nothing. She will copy problems right out of the book, doesn't explain anything. If I did't know math I would not be getting a good grade in this class. She thinks she is so cool and helpful saying we don't need to learn the unit circle, but because of the unit circle I am a month ahead of the class and not struggling. If you don't like math or not good at it don't take her. PS she sounds depressed every day and sometimes sounds like she is on the verge of tears. She also has a "police officer" her TA who walks around class taking notes on your behavior to deduct your participation points.

Class is difficult, nothing like 1201. However, Kurtz is a good teacher. May seem harsh/bitchy at first but she does lighten up. You HAVE to go to class to understand material. Easy project to boost grade. Attendance grades daily- GO TO CLASS

Don't let others deter you from taking Miss Kurtz. She is extremely helpful, nice and informative. Her teaching style is at a normal college pace, and it's not fast at all! Keep in mind that she has to cover a lot of information. Take her!

Mrs. Kurtz sometimes gets a reputation for being mean. But i think its just because people dont like Math. Go to class take notes and study. Not so hard

great teacher. very organized, work was graded very fast, communicated well with students. I learned so much from Ms. Kurtz!

Teacher is extremely rude and complains about the littlest thing. You better know how to teach yourself. She doesn't teach anything she just speeds through it all. You always have homework and quizzes and she won't help you.

She's mean and not helpful if you ask a question in class. The computer tests are hard, and she doesnt prepare students for it. Most who take her, drop her class cause it's that bad. Dont waste time with this one!!

Mrs. Kurtz is kind of boring but she knows what she's doing. Just be sure to do the hw because she won't help if you don't do the work. She also moves kind of fast through the material, but it's not that hard anyways.

Kurtz was a great teacher. She got the material across wonderfullly for just an hour a week. Love MyMathLab! If you don't have to take 1021, then don't but if you have to,take Kurtz!

horrible class. she isn't a friendly person at all. all the exams are on a computer program. you will waste more time learning how to use the program than learning the actual material. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS

This class does take a lot of time, but it does in any class. Some people tend to initially find her hard to approach, but she is actually very helpful and understanding. (i think its just the tone of her voice.)

Mrs. Kurtz is the rudest teacher I have ever had! She threatened to lock the doors because so many people got up and left the class! Don't worry about going to class unless you're bad in math. Everything is done on the internet including tests!

Course is sooooo easy...and I hate math! We colored and played w/ blocks alot. Teacher is great soooo nice and easy to understand.

Easy class, I'm not a math person and I easily got an A. Mrs. Kurtz explains everything well and communicated her expectations well. Her syllabus is very helpful

Ms. Kurtz knows what she is talking about, go to class, pay attention and do your homework and you'll be fine. She isnt all that nice at first, but a great teacher

Easy class but this teacher is a b*tch

the class isn't bad and neither is the teacher or the materials. three tests, five qz, and three proj. throughout the entire semester. just make sure you study for her test and can explain concepts cuz sometimes you are asked to explain in words

she is a really good math teacher, do homework and study ask questions, she is very easy to work with, easy class!

Go to class! I didn't and my grade shows it. Kurtz is pretty good and she presents it well so that it is easy to get and understand. Lots of quizzes- easy material though. A good math alternative for those math haters like me!

Mrs. Kurtz made everything very simple and easy to understand. She cooperated with her students very well.

Kurtz seems like she doesnt want to be in class but in the end she's a great teacher!

Mrs. Kurtz may not have been the most friendly person in class, but if you went to see her during her office hours (she even made appointments) she was very helpful and extremely nice! Do the homework!!!!!!!!!!!

This was an extremely easy class, and Prof Kurtz made it even easier.

She has the worst personality ever. She rolls her eyes when you ask her questions and acts like she is teaching a high school course. She is AWFUL.

Mrs. Kurtz loves math but she is not a great teacher. She belittles students who have been out of school for a long time and don't remember how to do "wimpy linear equations".

Kurtz really explains the material well, and her tests are easy. She proves that the material is applicable in real life.

mrs. kurtz is a very good teacher with one major flaw...her personality. if you can put up with her moodiness, she's a great teacher.

She's a tough cookie but if you go to her office she'll help you with anything and more than she would in class. Don't piss her off in class and she'll like you.

i am not good at math at all and i did well in this class. kurtz can have an attitude sometimes but she is a very organized and prepared teacher. i highly recommend.

I loved Mrs. Kurtz. She was the best math teacher that I've ever had. She went slow for eveyone and explained everything in dept. She was VERY well organized.

She may be boring, but she is an excellent instructor.
