Fairly negative, I had a difficult time understanding my instructor-- his handwriting is next to impossible to decipher, and his speech is mumbled. However, he does know his stuff.

Winslow mumbles, he doesnt take the time to teach anything, he just write down problems on the board. homework is not hard. but exams are nothing like homework, they are near impossible! do not take him!!

Nice guy, but doesn't teach much in class. If you have Winslow and can't jump out of a window or something to escape his class, be prepared to teach yourself most of the material. The math lab doesn't help much either. Teaches prodecure not concept

Prof Winslow gives extremely hard exams that are long and tedious. Dont take if you havent had calc before but its do-able. sloppy handwriting and mumbles. he helps you out though as long as you go to class. hes a good guy outside class

Horrible experience. He just does examples and is rude. This was the first time I've done so bad in a class in my life, and had to drop it. I got stuck because I scheduled the class at the last minute, but if you can take someone else then do it.

This class is horrible in the Cox building, if you have to take it make sure you go to your labs and also go to the SI sessions. That's the only way you are ever going to learn anything/pass.

The teacher was difficult to understand. The teaching method of this class (lecture with lab suppliment) was horrible. Online quizzes and exams. Not what was expected from a math class. Go to lecture and lab to fully understand what's going on.

Winslow can not speak or write coherently. The class is basically self taught through the internet. All tests/exams are on the internet. Make sure to go to the tutoring in Allen, you will need it.

All I can say is the flagship agenda is crap. However, they're not turning back, and apparantly we're stuck with online Calculus classes. That said, Winslow is not a good teacher if you have no calculus background. He does not explain things well.

1431 is horrible the lass is taught in huge lectures and Winslow is so hard to understand. The first thing he told us on the 1st day was "don't mob me with questions right after class, the university has a tutoring center for that."

I was a straight A student in high school, and have done well in all of my other college courses. I had to drop this course due to having an F, and believe me i studied for this class A LOT! The new math system at LSU sucks. Dont take it!!

Although he does mumble some, but if you sit close to the front, you can understand him. The tests are easy if you prepare for them. If you don't know calculus, get ready to work, but I think that can be expected with any teacher.
