The class doesn't require much, but Campbell doesn't know or teach the material well. Take Schaefer or Hynes or any other teacher for this class. I got an A, but walked away with nothing new. Also, the exams are computer-based, but a number of questions weren't discussed or mentioned.

She had a very good sense of humor. Her grading scale is really good. I think it was a 12 pt scale. She made the class interesting and if you paid attention in class the online quizzes were pretty easy. Exams were ok, just study notes and scan the chapters in the book.

Take the quizzes seriously! They do have an effect on your grade. The first test is impossible but she drops one so don't even worry about it. I could have gotten an A in this class had I tried a little harder. Pretty easy for a science course.

The material in the class is really cool. You have to go to class to take notes. Her exams have small things she mentions in class that you have to catch. The first exam is really hard but the rest are really easy. You can drop a test grade and an 88 is an A. You can draw a picture for 3% to your final grade.

Cambell's first test is hard as hell but the next three tests get easier and easier. You can drop your lowest grade. Some of the questions on her test are really small things that she talks about in class for 10 seconds so write down every word that comes out of her mouth. Easy A if you're a good student. May be tough if you don't go to class.

Amy is very knowledgeable and she is pretty understanding. I liked the course a lot and found it interesting because of it's content. She is a *little* condescending in lectures, but all in all, a good science alternative

You HAVE to go to class and take lecture notes to make an A. She gives a lot of bonus opps. and an A is an 88. Tests are only 20 questions and you need to know the material.

At the beginning of the semester, it was kind of difficult, but it got a lot easier after the first test. Basically, if you take good notes on her review, you will do well. She offered pllenty of bonus point opportunities, too.

one of my only C's of college. tests are NOTHING like lectures. take good notes, read book, keep up w. quizzes, and prep early for tests, only 15 questions on exams and they're HARD! only way 2 do well is by doing all the xtra credit... DO IT!!!

Material was interesting, but Campbell required such an understanding of material to do well on tests studying was pointless. I didn't even study for the final. Easy to get a decent grade oddly enough, but she is unbearable.

Her tests are almost completely irrelevant to what she teaches. The only saving graces are the bonus points which require out of class time, and her adjusted grading scale. Be prepared to get a sarcastic and unhelpful answer when you ask a question!

Professor Campbell is not a good lecturer. She's not good at explaining complicated concepts. The content is very interesting, and as long as you review the lecture slides and skim through the book, you will do well on the tests.

Amy is a great teacher and the material is very interesting. She is always available for help. Posts powerpoints and everything on the tests was said in class. 1st exam was tough but very easy after that. Take notes on the side!!!!

Class is ok but Amy Campbell is so boring. She tries to throw all kinds of tricks into her quizzes and tests just so students will miss questions. Also expect a quiz in class and 1 online weekly and about a test every 2 weeks.

Just go to class and pay attention-easy A. I recommend printing the power points in note format and taking notes on the slide. Also, be sure to go and get your quizzes from her...they are a big help on the test. Great class to fulfill Gen. Ed. req.

You must print out hundreds of pages of power point and other activies each week. She makes you work on activity worksheets in class that aren't from the book, and never goes over the answers. If you eat the book, you'll get a soild B on the tests.
