Soooo boring. Tons of information and the final is CUMULATIVE. Tests are from notes only so be ready to write down literally everything!

Class is sooo boring. He's monotone and he stares at his feet when he talks. He has trouble explaining things and he tries to be funny. take someone else

I love Dr. Horn. He likes geology & it shows. Ask him questions in class, he likes that. Take good notes not just what he puts on the board. Tests are not too bad, do good on 1 & 2 cause #3 is a dog. Takes attendance daily.

Dry sense of humor but extremely funny. Tests were very difficult but if you put the time into studying you can expect an A or B.

Horn was a good teacher. He knew what he was talking about. But copy basically everything he says because he is likely to use anything on the test.

This class is aweful. If you do not have a passion for rocks, do not take it and especially do not take Horn.

If you're taking this for a blow off class, DON'T take Horn. He wants everyone to change their major to geology. Class was hard to stay awake in and he is very monotone.

Horn thinks it is cool to only allow about 15 people to make an A. His tests are rediculously hard and are not close to the notes.

Mr. Horn is the best teacher. He personality was awsome. I am glad that I had him for Geology. His test was kind of hard, but he curve the exams. So things even out.

I REGRET taking him and this class.. he was a nice guy, but the class was extremely boring, I studied and studied yet still managed to fail. Material in class was not totally revelant to the test. DO NOT TAKE HIM! I should have listened to aroundu.

do NOT take horn for this class. it probably wouldn't have been a bad course if it wasn't for him. the class average on the tests was always around a 65. he made the class extremely hard for being the basic 1001 class.

Horn is a cool guy but his tests are hard and the final is cummulative. The class is boring but Horn helps out a little. Test questions come from what little/brief notes we get and the book. u must read!!

Horn is a good guy. He has a strange sense of humor that can be damn funny. The class isn't a blow off, and you will fail the tests if you don't learn the stuff. (there are 4 different forms of tests, so don't think that you could cheat) I liked it
