Zucker is pretty dry and makes you memorize SO MANY paintings for the test. The class should be easy but you have to spend so much time outside of class studying flashcards that it's harder than it should be.

There is a lot of memorization in this class, and 2-3 quest. aren't on the study guide. Make sure you attend class; she gives bonus quizes&some test ques. are from lecture. You can earn up to 18 bonus points, and she drops your lowest test grade.

I like art, but found this class to be rather boring, also, as a senior I felt like I was studying high school type material; gives two finals, but the cumulative one is extremely easy, so don't worry about that one

This class was soooo boring and incredibly long. The material is so boring too and she doesn't make it any easier. Don't take this class for your art elective!!!!! Its so much work and you have to memorize a million paintings! It is terrible!

The test are exactly like the study guide. She's a good teacher and has funny stories. If you like art this is a great class but if you find art boring you'll hate it. You don't have to go to class b/c you don't use the notes to study just the book.

This class is much worse than everyone else has said. No homework, no quizes. Just 4 very hard tests. The amount of information she gives for a test is rediculous. No curves, no extra points. Only difficult tests. PREPARE TO STUDY!!!!!!!!!

S. Zucker, although a bit boring at times, was an excellent instructor and very knowledgable. The few assignments were easy as were the exams, requiring only a/b a night of studying. Very interesting, learned a lot., just go to class & you'll be fine
