Dr. Eubanks is the best professor I've ever had; he's a real teacher, and you learn so much in his class. He is such a kind person; he has all the office time in the world to help you. Definitely get to know him; he'll become your favorite professor quickly. He's hilarious in his lectures as well. His exams are tricky--they're multiple choice, but then he has answers like: A and B, Just B, C and D, etc. But they're set up in such a way that if you really know the material, you can figure the answers out pretty easily. The lectures are fascinating, but don't expect to do well in this class if you rarely attend, because the tests come straight from lecture material. He told us to write down every word he said, and that's what you have to do. But he speaks at a good pace, so there's no way you can miss anything unless you fall asleep. Everything he said was clear; he made hard concepts very easy to understand. He assigns a lot of reading from the books and on Moodle, but don't skip any of it-it's fascinating, and could also show up on the exams. This is still my favorite class and the one I feel I learned the most in out of all my classes at LSU. Don't take anybody but Dr. Eubanks for POLI 1001.
