MCKENNA M (EXST)

Never went to class. Just studied the practice tests and quizes. Labs are weighted a lot so do well on those and you can slip up on the tests somewhat.

Easy class. Went to class the first day, never went after. Made A's on every test. Just get the labs/quizzes from someone and you're golden. Does require some studying a day before the test, to familiarize yourself with all the formulas, but just do the practice exams at the end of each unit in Lecture Notes. Tests come exactly from that.

This class was a greta alternative to taking calc 2 for me. its a very basic class so the tests and quizzes are simple and the lab you take every week is easy too. I studied the day of the test every time and did really well. I did goto almost every class but he doesnt care abotu attendance if your one who doesnt like to. this might be his last semester though so make sure he is teaching before you sign up.

Mr. Mckenna is great. He jokes a lot, and may not explain everything needed in class, but especially in 1 on 1 circumstances, he is really helpful concept wise. The lab is a major pain, but if you show up a half hour early, you can have the lab done before class even starts. Anyone who thinks they will ever do anything in science should take a Stat class, and this one is a great introduction. Class-eh, not my favorite Professor-Hilarious but helpful

Super easy A. If you make anything less than a B, drop out of college.

McKenna makes a lot of jokes that aren't funny... And he sweats a lot.. But aside from that, he's alright. I honestly don't understand how anyone could do poorly in this class. Just make sure you know how to do the practice exams and the quizzes and you should do fine. The labs are easy A's too.

McKenna is not the greatest communicator. I had to teach myself most of the topics. Unless you like math and statistics a lot, this class is super boring.

Not a bad class. You only have to go to the lab attached, I only went to the lecture one time throughout the semester. First two tests are a breeze, but watch out for the third one becuase it will screw you

EASY! As long as you do the practice tests and redo the quizes before the test you'll do fine. And for lab, everyone gets the answers before class from people who already took the class! For bio majors- def take over Calc 2 if u want to boost ur GPA!

McKenna is a nice guy and he teaches exactly what he wants you to know for the test. He doesnt curve, but its not really necessary. I didnt need to buy the book. His tests are just like his quizzes and practice tests

This class is completely pointless and taught me nothing. He reads directly from the lecture notes that you have to buy, so there's no point going to class. On the bright side, the tests are very easy.

Get ready for a nap and a LOT of corny jokes. He stalls class talking about pointless things and by time he gets on topic has time to go over like 2 problems. Test is exactly like the quiz and practice exam though.

McKenna is a very nice guy and good teacher at that. Gives practice exams that are identical to the tests. Also has a very easy lab. Is willing to help anyone if they don't understand any concepts

It is not necessary to attend class, at all. I made an A and only went the first few lectures, but YOU MUST GO TO THE LAB. Fairly easy math, get with a few people who have the class and study with them.

Very Easy class. If you can do the practice tests and quizzes, you have an A in the class. Just make sure to go to lab and do the quizzes. As for lecture, I went once a week, if that.

Mr.Mckenna tell the WORST jokes in the world!! if you ever laugh, it's b/c you are laughing at how stupid his jokes are... and i think he's the only one who teaches this class anyway; but on a good note, he's really organized! The lab for is a joke!!

Only recommending this because it's an easy class. Mckenna is terrible, but practice exams are exactly the same as tests almost. Labs are pointless but have to go. Class isn't necessary

A great professor. Full of corny jokes. In touch with what students are going through.

This class sucks, but you'll probably have to take it for an analytic reasoning credit. McKenna is corny but he seems to enjoy what he teaches, which is respectable. But, in the end, this class sucks.

Dr. Mckenna knows just how hard this subject can be, so he makes it very easy on you. All class notes and very good practice tests come with the book. Go to lab, turn in quizes, and do practice tests for a good grade. Going to class is not necessary.

EASY A! Going to class is pointless because all you have to do is memorize the old tests in his notes and you'll make an A. Must go to lab b/c it will really affect your grade but it is very easy.

This might be the easiest class I have taken at LSU. The exams are straight from the quizzes and pracitce exams. No need to go to class, just study the quizzes and the practice test at the end of each chapter.

Pretty Much an Easy A if you do the practice tests. Mckenna has a strange sense of humor, so get ready for really corny jokes.

teacher is a fluke and confusing, Test on computer are full of errors and do not match his lectures. The lab and practice tests are what save you.

Class material is sometimes hard to relate to real life. Mr. McKenna is understanding and helpful. Not really necessary to go to class. The lab helps your grade out alot in this class.

Mckenna made this class a lot easier than it could be. He tells really bad jokes but he is really helpful to the students. He gives you the old tests that are exactly like the new tests. If you must take this class make sure you get Mckenna.

The class sucks but McKenna gives all this useful info on SB so you don't actually have to go. I got a C because I didn't study; I could have easily gotten an A if I had. The labs are easy too.

This class was an easy A. I went to class the first 2 weeks of school and never went again. McKenna puts his practice tests on the internet that come from the computer based testing on the website and his tests are exactly the same.

Really good instructor. Yeah, he's corny and makes bad jokes, but he's really helpful and will help you a lot if you go see him. Take his class if you can make it. Don't blow off the exams, study hard, do all the labs, and you'll make an A

He was the only guy teaching. Take this course if required. This was his first time teaching this class this semester. He didn't explain things clearly when going over concepts or the lab. The TA in the lab was more helpful.
