OMG this class was horrible. Spent 7-10 hours on each lab (7 total) report for a one hour class. Most of us spent the entire three hour block in class every time, and sometimes stayed even longer. This could have been avoided if the first hour of each class wasn't wasted on going over the problems with the last lab reports. Oh, man this class still gives me nightmares.

This class was pretty difficult, but mostly just because of Rupnik. She does an aweful job of explaining things, and I had to rely mostly on the book. I think if this class had been taught by someone else, it probably wouldn't have been so bad, but at least the tests were fairly simple and predictable.

dude...if you're reading this class you probably have to take it, my recommendation, don't take rupnik, she's a bad teacher but she does help you out a little bit with grades, take gonzales cause she helps you out even more

Rupnik is an mediocre teacher. She does not have enough time to teach the material. Departamental tests are ridiculous - the pick the worst problems to put on test - study all examples thouroughly. Muliple choice on tests are very tricky.Go to class!

Its a weed out class. Rupnik tries her hardest to see her students do well. Great teacher. Most people that give her bad reviews are the ones that didn't pass the class....She devotes enourmous amounts of her time to office hours.

Rupnik is difficult to understand, gets frustrated when folks don't pay attention. Read the lab before the quizzes. Do all of the labs on time and go to her office for help. She's kind. Some of the labs are atrocious.

I cheated on all the homework, didnt really go to class, and started studying the day before for tests-and ended up with an A-but only because I taught myself everything, which is the only way to get through this class.

If you have to take 2101, take Rupnik. Once you get used to her accent she is very easy to understand. She holds countless study sessions in addition to office hours ... even on some Sundays.

She is one of the best teachers if you can understand her. Very nice lady and a easy class if you are a conceptual learner. will give you all equations for test as long as you understand concepts, there is no studing and an A in the class

Rupnik is nice and she will help you understand the material, but this class is TERRIBLY ORGANIZED. The people who wrote the syllabus are idiots. Way too much material for a 3 hour class, and they assign work that is due DURING FINALS WEEK.

Ms. Rupnik commonly forgot English phrases, and assumed that everyone in the class had taken 1100. Her teaching style was further hampered because all assignments are departmental so she couldn't take time to explain things better. Good luck.
