Bus Calc will make you want to cry, but Dr. Vaughn will try to make it as bearable as possible. I HIGHLY recommend attending lecture and lab on a regular basis. Unless you're a math whiz, you will need to study your butt off if you want to do well in this class. My main complaint about this course is that the quiz and test questions were generally harder than the problems the instructor taught in class, which I found unfair. Only buy access to the homework... DO NOT buy the book; it didn't help me at all. Dr. Vaughn's colorful personality and Email Bag breaks make the class more enjoyable, so take her if you have to take this course!

Easy if you go to class and keep up with notes. Only bad thing about the class is the computer program the grades you.

Dr Vaughn is great!! this class is SO easy, i aced all the tests. the only sucky part is all the homework and quizzes outside of class (but really not a big deal). It's a little challenging considering it is calculus...but WAY easier than 1550

Dr. Vaughn was great! I hate math, but she made it interesting for me. The only downside is the required weekly lab, but I never went and still got an A.

Complications with Webassign made studying for this class difficult. Hopefully they start using a better system. I'm not a math person, which made this class awful. Anything less than studying every day will fail you.

Mrs. Vaughn is a great teacher and tries to make class exciting. Get her for labs! Just study the notes and you will do good on tests.

She's awesome, very patient and always positive. MUST attend class everyday to understand the material although attendance is not taken. Quizzes are all online and so are exams. If you love math, take this course, it was super easy.

This class is a little tough and requires studying and completing 2-3 quizzes each week. It's a time consuming but fun class. Exams are EXACTLY like quizzes. Vaughn is hilarious and makes class entertaining. You watch movie clips and powerpoint.

very fun teacher. she keeps you entertained most of the time. i only fell asleep a few classes the entire semester! the lab teachers are a joke though, so don't expect to get any help from them

This is not an easy class but Dr. Vaughn is a great teacher. It seems really easy at first but it will get complicated. Everything is computer based and some forms are easier than others. Do the Homework Quizes!!!

Easy class. Ms. Vaugh is awesome. cares for the students. finish online quizzes in time! and study for the tests. do the hw practices for better grades.

Vaughn made learning easy. DEFINITELY go to class to learn where to stop doing a problem. Exams are easy if you do the reviews over and over again bc exams are replicas of reviews. Labs don't help. Quizzes help to pull grades up.

Dottie is the best math teacher ever! Go to class, take notes carefully, know the maple problems perfectly and it is an easy A. Careful with the lab, M. Harrison sucks.

Vaughn's a great teacher. Class is tedious with 20+ online quizzes. Everything is computerized but not difficult. Check your lab teach as this could make or break you. Get Terri White. She's great. If you had calc in HS, this will be an easy A.

This class was so easy!! The quizes are a pain and you have alot but you cant ake them as many times as you want. The notes in class are identical to the quizes and the test are even easier than the quizes!!

Dr. Vaughn is soo funny, she makes calcus entertaining, maple can be a pain, but the good thing is that the questions on your quizes are the same questions on the exams, do the reviews for the test they are almost exactly the same,

Dr. Vaughn is great, but the maple coding used on the testing is ridiculous, also there is absolutely no bonus, i needed .5 points to get a C and Ms. Clement refused to help me out.

She is an excellent teacher. She doesn't just show you examples on how to do things but explains it so you actually understand the logic behind it. The software used is a pain but there's nothing you can do about it. GREAT TEACHER. take her.

Dr. Vaughn is awesome! She keeps your attention. Study her notes and do the practice test before you take the exam and you should get an A. The MapleTA system is a pain, but she shows you the shortcuts.

I went to class 4 times. Got a B. Easy alternative to Calc I for Business Majors! Take it if you are a Business Major!

Vaughn is interesting and easy to understand. Also, all quizzes are on the computer and can be taken multiple times. Only downside is the required lab that doesn't count for hours and MapleTA.

Dr. Vaughn is an awesome teacher, but the computerized testing and the extreme quick pace of the class make it difficult for even a good math student to make an A.

Vaugh is an excellent math teacher. She gives you all the notes you need for quizzes, and reviews for all tests. The tests consist of NO complicated form of any problem. She is concerned with student welfare, you just have to ask for her help.

This class is easier than high school calculus. She is the best teacher, and she's also very entertaining. Definately take her.

Dr. Vaughn is a little crazy, but she teaches the material VERY well! The test are on the computer so make sure you take the time to learn the program and use the preview option when you're taking your test make sure you don't make any silly errors

Dr. Vaughn Rocks, she doesn't assume you know things you don't and is a very thorough professor. The only problem is, math blows.

Curved tests and gave a pre exam quiz that was the exact same as the test except for diff. numbers.

Dr. Vaugh is a great teacher full of energy, she uses power point slides for the class lectures and gives you the answers for the daily quizes. She also plays music before and after class.

Ridiculous. The course required us to attend lab that was no help at all, meaning the course required 4 hours instead of the 3 hours we get credit for. I had an A but got a b b/c i didnt go to class in the distracting cox building or lab.

Vaughn is very dingy. She explains the easy material forever, but flies past the hard stuff. However, she is 100x more interesting than Lax's monotone voice.

Very cool lady. Knows her stuff but goes a bit fast. The biggest problem with the course wasn't her fault-- it was the computer testing called Maple. Made math interesting to me for once.

Vaughn was a great teacher considering the amount of students in the class. The test was on computers but the problems were less complex. This trig class was a lot easier than at LSUE. (I would have never passed it over there.)

She's a pretty good teacher, but I personally thought she taught too fast. And the classes are way too large for that class.

This class had over 350 people in it and was very hard to learn. Homework and tests are done on the computer so not only do you have to learn trig but you have to learn computer language. there ia absolutely no half credit and the server shuts down

This class is very easy, especially if you had Trig in highschool. Mrs. Vaughn cares about the students and explains the material very well.

Dr. Vaughn is a great calc teacher, she does plenty of examples in class and goes over all homework questions. The tests are pretty tricky though because the questions are quite hard, however she gives bonus on the tests.
