If Anthropology isnt your major, then don't take this class..its boring and requires you to not only read 3 HUGE BORING BOOKS...but you also have to write a 15 page paper on a interview of someone from another culture..which, was NEVER GRADED! BOOOOO

Regis was very enthusiastic about the class which made you want to listen to what she was saying. All you have to do is read her books and watch the in-class movies and you'll have no problem in this class

This teacher was sooo GOOD!! ok, i know anth. is boring but Dr. regis was so nice and we had unlimited amounts of bonus pts. I sat in the front only because i knew i'd be staring at the back of someone's head during lecture if i didn't.

Regis is cool, she may be very boring during lecture, but i say that going to the lecture doesnt really matter. All the information on her tests comes from the book, if you read the text then youll do well, do extra credit!

She goes off topic alot. I didn't really learn anything about cultures as a whole, which is what I expected from an intro class. She discussed these cultures in too much detail, like it should have been an upper level class.

Regis is a good professor but goes off on a lot of tangents. She is very focused on her book and what she has done. The class is fun if you are interested in culture. Be ready to read a lot.

The class had its ups and downs & her tests were ok as long as you took notes & read, but she wrote one of the books you're tested on. Oh, and her fashion is horrible making it really hard to concentrate on anything else.

You didn't need a textbook for this class, but rather 3 anthologies. She also lectures on other facts not found in a textbook because we didn't have one. Attend most/all classes and read the anthologies and you will do fine.
