you'll learn amazing stuff in this class. Most enlightening class you'll take freshman year. But you have to pick the right professors to teach your lectures. I took and loved: s stem., henderson, lamonica, and holmes. I won't mention the other two.

Lots of reading and writing, but the seminar is engaging and worth your time, unlike other bs courses you will take for the rest of your four years at lsu. Dr. Lamonica is one of a kind.

Great professor and interesting material, but the three papers stink. Other than that, great class.

I loved this class. She really made it fun and interesting. The time required outside of class isn't too fun, but it is doable. This class is definitely worth it.

Did not like Honors lecture at all. Most lectures were boring and difficult to follow. Material was interesting when I read it on my own, but the way this stuff is taught, you just want to scream.

I would not recommend Lamonica or Honors at all. She thinks highly of herself and less of other students. She brags a lot about herself. Not very helpful in class, either.

if u cant take regular english do it if ur not a liberal arts major, but if u do take honors, lamonica is the best

Wow! She's a terrific teacher. She really demands good grammar and logical thoughts on papers, though.
