HARGRODER W (KIN)

This class was amazing! Dr. Hargroder is really nice and she knows her stuff and all she really wants is for you to gain an understanding of what it is like to be disabled and get you used to being in the disabled community. You have to do 20 service hours at local schools for kids with disabilities, which is really fun. Then there is 1 test, which is really easy and there are a couple of projects, which were okay! Really easy A, but I also learned soooo much since we actually got to go out in the field and it was fun!

Hargroder is absolutely the worst teacher I have ever had. Going to class is almost mandatory but pointless. She simply does not know how to teach, the tests are hard, and her notes are crap. DO NOT take this woman.

Great teacher! You have to go to class, but class isn't bad.. I never read the book just took the notes that she gave in class and I did fine!

Hard as hell. Memorization is key. The tests are computer based, and questions are SOOO tricky! The bonus project really helps.

I am pre-med and this class was hard!! I struggled for a B! The mass amounts of stuff to learn and memorize was insane! dont take this class as a fill in easy class..you'll be sorry!!!

Dr. Hargroder has a bad habit of either being scatter-brained or just plain lying about what's on the test. If she gives you a list of figures to study for the test, DON'T JUST STUDY THAT!! There will almost always be an extra 1 or 2 on the test.

Don't take if you need a definite A in anatomy. Really difficult to get a B or above in the class... she said only about 7.5% will get an A and pretty much stuck to it. Material was interesting but the tests were extremely difficult and confusing.

This class is a lot of work, it takes a lot of studying and memorization. But Ms. Hargroder is fair, her notes are on line and the test aren't bad if you go to class, but be sure you always know your diagrams b/c the tests are full of them

Hargroder didn't teach--she just reads off overheads. Told us something would NOT be on the test and it definitely was. Take someone else if you want to learn/get a good grade.

Hargroder really knows her stuff... she gives bonus points for answering questions in class and for participating in a run/walk during the semester.

Hargroder tried hard but wasn't getting the info out. Pretty much taught myself. Very fast paced class.

STUDY STUDY STUDY! I heard she was easy, but that was not true! The tests are difficult, and she doesn't curve.

not a bad class, obviously, if your going into the medical field... the prof is pretty good.. her tests are pretty much straightforward.. easy A --if you put forth some time..

Mrs. Hargroder is a really nice person, however, I would not recommend her for this class. You have to have a 93 to get an A, and a some of the material on the tests, esp. a lot on the final, was not in the notes, some of it not even in the book

Tests come straight from the notes. Hargroder is big on attendance. She is new to teaching this class, so she somtimes doesn't really know what she's talking about and doesn't make the tests, uses the department's tests. Overall, pretty easy.

It was fun to work with the kids, but good god, everything else about the class was pretty bad. Poor instruction and test material was quite irrelevant.

Ms. Hargroder was wonderful. I recommend her to anyone. She made us laugh, and she really cared about the students. She made anatomy interesting and fun to learn about! TAKE HER!

Hargroder is pretty boring, and some of the material on her testr is not covered in class. All we do in class is go through the text book and highlight.
