Chemistry is fun, but Cartledge is a nightmare!!! You teach yourself from the book, and he "discusses" chem in class. Take Strongin or Davila if u can! He's poop!

You have to work your tail off and do tons of work to get a good grade, try for another teacher before cartledge b/c you have to teach yourself most of the time

He is a nice guy, but organic chemistry is already a tough class and he makes you want to leave class the moment you sit down. He isn't the worst teacher, but don't take him unless your only other choice is Crowe(heard he is worse)

he is the nicest guy but he sucks at teaching. expect to teach yourself and his exams are all multiple choice which seems like it'll be simple but it is not an effective way of measuring someone's knowledge in a class as complex as organic.

Cartledge was good at explainations, material was difficult, but all tests were multiple choice

Didn't explain things clearly, used same examples in class constantly and then pulled things out of the air for tests.
