I loved this class and I loved J. Johnson. She was easy to understand and used so many different forms of modern media to relate to the class. She encouraged discussions, and that's pretty much all we did in class. When readings were assigned, she would (only sometimes) give a 1-question quiz to make sure you read, but it was very simple. You can't sit around and do nothing in this class, but then again what English class CAN you do that in? People probably steer clear of this class if they're not english majors because of the name, but it's definitely for all majors. Lots of writing, which I love, but she isn't the type to grade your writing too strict. She understands that everyone has a different writing style. GOOD CLASS!!
