Verrill grades fairly and teaches well. This is a proofs class, so be prepared to enter the real world of mathematics.

Dr. Verrill goes out of her way to make class easy and fun. About twice a week, she brought in little toys to demonstrate things in class.

Verrill if from England and doesn't use the same terms we do. She knows the material well, but is sort of innefective at teaching it to the class. She curved all of our tests 20-30 points, so if you have had calc in H.S., you'll be fine.

I would def reccomend her, esp if you have taken calc in h.s. Her tests are very easy and she gives you 20 quizes and only keeps your 10 best. She allows you to use soln manual at tutor center for hw. Not the best at explaining, but helpful.
