Very very fun class. The labs were informative and Butler's a really cool guy. He makes sure to interact with the students. I heard it was a hard class but honestly very easy. Tests are WAYY off base though but TAs make up for it. Brian's awesome.

Butler is so confusing. You pretty much are on your own. I had to do alott of outside studying and tutoring, but I still got no higher than a C on every test. Plus side: he curves like crazy.

Les seems bothered by people asking him questions in class. He reads his lectures from power point that he publishes online before class. He does conduct review sessions outside of class before the final and is easy to get ahold of outside of class.

I dropped this class midway into the semester! If you are not wanting to get an F or a W DONT TAKE HIM! He is horrible and has to curve his tests by like 10-20 pts because students do bad

Do not take Prof. Les Butler, primarily because he just goes through power point slides and thats it. You are forced to teach yourself the information and the exams are very difficult and hard to understand. Not recommended

DO NOT TAKE BUTLER!!!!!! he is easily the worst teacher i have EVER had, he mummbles and DOESN'T teach the material, the homework usually takes 2-3 hours and counts for 7% of the grade. Over 200 people dropped the class, TAKE ANY ONE ELSE!!!!
