Ms, White is a good teacher! She is funny....but straight forward! I had never taken calculus in high school and jumped straight into it the first semester of my freshman year, so it was allot of hard work but I still got the A.

Mrs. White was overall a great teacher. She gave webassign hw and, as annoying as it is, helps alot. She pushed back tests with the right amount of begging. Sometimes goes off on tangents during class. Gave study guides and No suprises on test

Terry was a great teacher. Although you have to watch all the work she does on the board, because she is prone to make mistakes. She gives a final review session and her test questions are just like the ones she does in class!

Seems nice at first and then comes test time. She puts the hardest possible examples from each section on the test. If you take her, have an A going into the final or else your not going to get an A. Tests = RIDICULOUS!

All 1550 teachers are miserable, but White is the worst. I studied all the time, did all the homework (miserable), had a tutor and still got a C--and I'm an A student. She works her own problems & gets them wrong, so there's no hope for students.

Basically, THE MATH LAB IS YOUR TEACHER!!! If I could give any advice, it's to just go to the math lab One hour EVERYDAY and learn the homework as best as possible! DONT learn from the Computer Video Guy (He will FAIL you)! It'll get a lot Easier!!

Take Mrs. White if you can. Shes easy to understand, and gives take home assignments (homework) instead of quizes also gives some bonus. Take her for 1021 or 1431 if they dont become massive departamental classes.

Mrs. White is great. She's very patient and there in office hours. She makes her tests. She gives partial credit. Very nice, and teaches very good. One of the best math teachers I've had.

The tests are pretty easy if you study the material. Homework is practically optional. Relatively little work besides for studying. For an easier math class, I'd recommend this course.

calculus sucks but take this over 1550 if possible, White is boring, hard of hearing, very smart but not good at explaining, does give 20 pt bonus on each test, if I didn't have prior knowledge from high school I wouldn't have made an a.
