Jessica is a pleasant teacher. At times she moves through things quickly but will gladly answer questions or clarify if asked. She wants the students to do well in the class and understand. I would suggest that if you take this class, you take her.

Great Teacher! you have to study and keep up with material because quizzes are hard but they prepare you for the test very well. Best teacher for the class!

This class was why I decided to become an accounting major. J Rakow was able to make a 7:30 am class interesting, and since I took this class I have kind of an edge in the Cost Acct classes.

Awesome teacher. Explains everything thoroughly in lectures. Class attendance is taken. A little extra study and doing the homework can be the difference between a B and a C. Tests aren't that bad at all.

First of all, Jessica Is freaking hot, prolly the best looking teacher at LSU and better looking then most students. It makes you want to go to class. Accounting is hard no matter what, but take her! Really want to help students!

She prepares you well for exams, use office hours! she is very helpful, and a great teacher, possibly the best teacher i've had in 3 semesters. pretty, funny, smart.

The class is NOT hard at all, if you study. Jessica is so sweet and really cares about her students! I actually looked forward to this class. Take her and this course!

She is pretty nice, but she gets kinda worked up over acct sometimes..it was kind of weird. She tries to make the info relevant and interesting, but it is just pretty much boring. She posts all the notes; hard to stay awake. Preps you well for tests.

Accounting is boring and it just plain sucks. Jessica is very unhelpful and comes off as kinda mean. Be prepared to teach yourself everything. AVOID 2101!!!!

Jessica is awesome. She really helps you understand the material, as boring as it can be. She's very willing to help you and her quizzes are easy, which makes up for the dept. exams. I highly recommend her.

All notes put on PAWS, do the reccomended assignments and you should get a B with no problem.
