Simply put, this instructor is a jerk. If you're not one of his favorites, prepare to be called out at critiques and have your work picked out as the worst. I spend my weekends working in the lab, yet this still happens. It's not lack of effort, but he's such a jerk towards me for some reason.

It's extremely difficult in the beginning of the class, but you do end up learning a lot about negatives, developing, and different papers. If you only like digital photography and hate film, do NOT take this class. Be prepared to spend money.

He is burned out on teaching this class and you'll recognize this in his attitude.
